How Custom Butcher Processing Works in Texas?
STEP 1
Reserve Your Live Animal Share
Choose your share when you buy whole cow Texas options or reserve a half cow Texas share from our pasture-raised steers and heifers. Lock in your order with a simple deposit ($1,400 for a whole beef cow for sale Texas order, or $800 for a half beef Texas order). Total livestock pricing is $3,395 for a whole cow and $1,995 for a half cow.
STEP 2
We Transport to the Local Butcher
We transport your live steer or heifer directly from our Hill Country ranch to an expert local processor specializing in custom butcher beef.
STEP 3
Specify Your Cut Sheet Preferences
Submit your custom beef order Texas preferences. Choose your exact steak thickness, package counts, roast sizes, and specialty custom beef cuts Texas families prefer.
STEP 4
Master Processing & Vacuum Packaging
Our custom butcher Texas team hand-cuts, vacuum-seals, and flash-freezes every package, clearly labeling each cut for easy freezer storage.
STEP 5
Pick Up & Pay Butcher Processing
Collect your custom cut beef Texas order directly from the processor and pay the local butcher fee (typically $1,000–$1,200 for whole cow beef Texas or $500–$600 for half cow beef Texas).

- Half Cow Share (~175–200 lbs | ~$12–$13/lb final cost):
When you buy half cow Texas shares, you receive a balanced half portion of all primal steak cuts, roasts, and premium ground beef.
